“Sometimes you will never know the value of a moment until it becomes a memory.”
I take the time to understand your family and what matters most to you in this season. Everything is planned in a way that feels easy and intentional, so when the day comes, you can just be present. The result is a collection of real, meaningful moments that reflect your life as it truly is, preserved in a way you can hold onto and live with every day.
What You’ll Receive
Step One: The Planning Call
Fifteen minutes, phone or video, your call. We talk through what you want, what your home looks like (so I can think about wall art that actually fits), and anything that's stressing you out about the session. The wardrobe walk-through and the rest of the styling guide will be pulled together and set to you.
Step Two: The Session
Up to ninety minutes, candid and unrushed. We get the formal one your mother-in-law wants, and then we get the real ones the look she gives him in the third frame, the laugh that wasn't planned, your toddler refusing to sit still. Those are the keepers.
Step Three: The In-Person Reveal
The following week, you come back and we look at your gallery together on a big screen. This is where you choose what becomes physical artwork wall pieces, albums, framed prints, the gallery wall you've been meaning to fill in the hallway. I help you narrow down without pressure. You only purchase what you love.
Step Four: The Delivery
Artwork delivered to your door. Frames, albums, prints ready to hang, ready to live with. More than a download link that sits on your phone until you upgrade your phone and forget about it. I’ll even come in and hang them for you.
Portrait Sessions
$190 Session Fee
Your $50 retainer holds your date on our calendar and $140 covers your creative planning and up to 1.5 hours of photography.
You only purchase what you love during your reveal appointment. A la carte options start at $100. On average families spend between $500-$2000.
What families are saying:
“Amazing experience working with Alison. She is so knowledgeable about photography and knew how to get the perfect shot in every location we wanted. She’s also extremely personable which made my fiancé and I feel very comfortable. We love our pictures and would highly recommend using Alison Tapp photography. Will be calling her again to do more photos in the future!”
”We recently had family portraits done and had such a wonderful experience! Alison was incredibly patient with everyone (especially the kids!) and made the whole session feel relaxed and enjoyable. Her professionalism really stood out from start to finish, and the photos turned out absolutely beautiful. We’re so grateful for the memories she captured and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a talented and kind photographer!”

As you already know the days are long but wow are the years short. It doesn’t last forever and this time is worth remembering.
