There is something incredibly special about photographing a newborn in the place where their story is just beginning. This in-home newborn session in North Carolina felt soft, calm, and full of connection from start to finish.

We began the session in baby girl’s nursery, a space filled with blush, white, and warm beige tones that reflected the peaceful style of the home. Mom cuddled her in the rocking chair while big brother joined in; curious, gentle, and full of sweet energy. From there, we transitioned to the parents’ bedroom for a cozy lifestyle setup. We captured the full family together, quiet moments with mom and dad, and a few images of baby on her own. The natural light and neutral palette created a soft, relaxed look that will fit beautifully in their home.
