I’m so excited for you and your fiancé! What an amazing time in life.
Choosing your wedding photographer is a BIG decision. These are the photos you and your family will look back on for the rest of your life. They serve as a time capsule so that you can relive your day again and again. When you invest in wedding photography, you aren’t investing in photos, you’re investing in a memory that is priceless. Take a second and think about the importance to you and what you would want to see.
Alison Tapp Photography’s style is one that is true to life and allows you to really jump back in time to your wedding day. There will always be more than one photographer present so that your day is captured by multiple perspectives and feels complete. I also edit in a way that is beautiful and holds true to colors and skin tones to create a timeless look.
For me relationship is everything. I make the process easy and fun by building trust, comfort, and friendships along the way. Really knowing your love story and personalities allows me to create images that reveal your authenticity and speak to who you are right now. This adds to the time capsule element. I don’t want you to just see your beautiful faces, I want you to see the emotion you were feeling.

Remember we’re creating a memory, so no stuffy poses or saying cheese. When you’re working with me we’re going to laugh, cry, and enjoy every step of the process from our first meeting to the big reveal at the end.

The ATP wedding process is one that is designed to give us as many connection points as possible while still keeping things simple. We start with a consultation to say hello and see if we hit it off. Once you’ve booked we’ll plan an engagement session that comes complimentary with all wedding collections. From there we can add in anything else you’d like. Bridals, boudoir, rehearsal, etc. As the wedding day gets closer we’ll have several touch points to make sure everyone knows the plan and then enjoy the best day ever, your wedding day! Finally we’ll do a reveal session and relive your day together one more time.

HELLO! I’m Alison 😊 Here are a few fun facts about me:
1) I’ve been married to my best friend since 2018 and we have two fur children Daisy (also known as the pupper nugget) and Luna (also known as the looney).
2) A perfect evening for me would be to sit by a fire with friends and just relax. I’m a home body for sure but love to be around the people i’m closest to.
3) My favorite places in NC are Holden Beach and Stone Mountain State Park. Stone Mountain was my family go to for weekend camping trips as a child and Holden is my husband and I’s go to, its also where he proposed.
4) I took up photography 11ish years ago and have been working professionally for 9. I got my degree in photographic technology in 2014 and have received several other certifications since. Photography is not just my profession, but my passion. When I’m not shooting for my ATP family, I love photographing nature.
