When you look at photos of yourself and your loved ones how do they make you feel? For me they serve as a time capsule to take me back to those exact moments in life. This is my mission at Alison Tapp Photography. To help you revisit how wonderful you and your loved ones are right now, for generations.
Lifestyle portraits cover it all, from updating your family photos, celebrating your coming graduation, or just doing something fun with a person you love.
I’m with you every step of the way from our creative planning session to the big reveal. I’ll help you pick the perfect location, consult on attire, and do everything I can to make your session as unique as you are.
Sessions with me are EASY and FUN. We’re not saying cheese and doing stuffy poses. I’m going to get to know you and interact with you to create authentic expressions. At my sessions kids should be playing, seniors should be sharing their dreams, and couples should be laughing at one another in a way they haven’t in years.
As a part of making sure your session can be enjoyed for generations I provide my ATP family with the BEST heirloom products that are designed to last. I’ll show you samples and help you make the right decisions when it comes to your wall art, albums, and gifts.

HELLO! I’m Alison 😊 Here are a few fun facts about me:
1) I’ve been married to my best friend since 2018 and we have two fur children Daisy (also known as the pupper nugget) and Luna (also known as the looney).
2) A perfect evening for me would be to sit by a fire with friends and just relax. I’m a home body for sure but love to be around the people i’m closest to.
3) My favorite places in NC are Holden Beach and Stone Mountain State Park. Stone Mountain was my family go to for weekend camping trips as a child and Holden is my husband and I’s go to, its also where he proposed.
4) I took up photography 11ish years ago and have been working professionally for 9. I got my degree in photographic technology in 2014 and have received several other certifications since. Photography is not just my profession, but my passion. When I’m not shooting for my ATP family, I love photographing nature.
